(GR) Group Representatives
Nassau County is divided into 5 Districts.
Districts #6, #7, #8, #10 & #11
On the meeting list there is a column that identifies what # District your group is in. Or see groups listed by districts sheet, by clicking above link.
Each Group should have a Representative (a GR) that would meet with all the other GR’s in their district periodically, to share and receive information and education related to the workings of Al-Anon to bring back to their group. This is an essential level of service that is designed to keep groups healthy and not be isolated. (see below Group Representatives G-11)

An AGR (Alternate Group Representative) is a member of a group that quarterly attends a Nassau County (ALISON) meeting, where all the groups of Nassau County attend to share and receive information and education to bring back to their group. This also is an essential level of service that is designed to keep groups healthy and not be isolated. (see below District Meetings G-15)
